Sundown Puppies

If you are interested in purchasing a puppy from us please click on the link above to fill out our Adoption Application form so we can review your information to pre-approve you for a future puppy. It is our goal to ensure that all of our pups go to suitable homes with great people who understand and appreciate our wonderful Border-Aussies.

We will notify the people who qualify for a pup and add them to our waiting list. Once the pups are born and are a couple of weeks old, we will notify all of our clients in order and then take down payments to reserve a puppy. Puppy choice will be based the the length of time clients are on the waiting list, and when their down payments are received. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we go through this process.

If you would like to arrange a visit to our farm to get to know us and our dogs prior to purchasing a pup, please feel free to contact us. We understand that there are a lot of shady breeders out there and people like to be confident that they are getting their pets from a quality home.

Deposits

There is a $300 deposit required for the purchase of all pups. See note below...

All pups are vet checked, de-wormed, and have their first set of vaccinations before leaving for their new homes.

Yes we can hold your pup for a short time after the scheduled pick up date. There is a $35 per week charge for boarding and socializing pups that are held over past 9 weeks or the regular schedule pick up weekend. This helps cover the cost of extra feed, training, heating their buildings etc...

We charge a $75 transport fee to deliver pups to Edmonton International Airport.

Be aware that putting a deposit down for a puppy is deemed a contract to buy. The deposit is not refundable unless the pup becomes injured or ill before pick up! Please be sure you are committed to the purchase.

Why is the down payment non-refundable? By holding a puppy for you we will be turning down other interested parties and may loose the opportunity to find that pup the best home possible. We strongly encourage you to come and meet our dogs and in person well before the pups are born. That way you can be confident that you are making the best choice for you and your family. We want our puppies and their owners to have long happy and healthy relationships, so it is important that owners understand the breed. If you are confident that you know and understand the Border Collie & Australian Shepherd breeds we do not require a visit before you decide to purchase a puppy. That being said, visits are always encouraged.
